The short version. Nimu collects nothing about you. It has no accounts, no analytics and no servers of its own, and it works in airplane mode. Your photographs and your projects stay on your device unless you export and share them yourself.

1. What the app stores

Your projects, with their layers and the photos they use, are kept inside the app on your device. Pictures you export are written to your own Photos library, as new pictures. One small setting also lives on the device: whether you have bought Nimu Pro. None of it leaves the device.

2. What the app sends

Nothing, with one exception that is not really ours: if you buy Nimu Pro, the purchase goes through Apple's App Store. We never see your name, your email or your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether the purchase exists.

All image processing runs on the device's own chip: every adjustment, filter and brush stroke, and also the subject detection Lens Blur uses, which is Apple's on-device technology. That is why the app works with no signal at all.

3. Permissions, and why

4. What the app does not do

Photographs carry whatever information their camera wrote into them, which can include where they were taken. When you share an exported picture, that is between you, the app you share it with, and iOS.

5. Children

The app is safe for any age and gathers nothing, from anyone. There is no chat, no social feature and no way for one user to reach another.

6. This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The Raw demo on the home page runs entirely in your browser: if you open a photograph in it, that picture is read by your own device, adjusted on it, and never uploaded or stored anywhere.

If you use the contact form, the message and the address you type are sent by email to us so that we can reply. We keep those messages only as long as it takes to answer you, and we never add them to any list.

The site is hosted by a standard web host, which keeps its own server logs, including IP addresses, as every web server does. We do not use those logs for anything.

7. Your rights

Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to export or delete. If you have written to us and want that message deleted, ask and it will be.

8. Changes

If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. A version that collected data would be a different app, and it would say so plainly.

9. Contact
