Freedom Forecast keeps everything on your device and sends none of it anywhere. There is no account, no server and no tracking. Your salary, your savings and your plans stay yours.
Your age, income, savings, monthly investment, spending, lifestyle target and every purchase you add are stored only on your device, inside the app’s private storage and protected by Apple’s on-device encryption. This information is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, because the app has no server to transmit it to. We cannot see it, access it or recover it.
None. We do not collect personal information, usage analytics, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, location or contacts. The app contains no third-party analytics and no advertising software. We do not build a profile of you, and we have no database of users. This is why the app is listed on the App Store as Data Not Collected.
Freedom Forecast makes no network requests in order to work. It does not sync between your devices, and you can use every part of it in airplane mode. The only time it reaches the network at all is through Apple’s own systems, if you make or restore a purchase.
Like any app, the data it stores on your device is included in your device’s own backup if you have iPhone backups switched on. That backup is between you and Apple, and is encrypted by Apple. We have no access to it.
Freedom Forecast is a paid app, bought once on the App Store, and it contains no in-app purchases. The transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your name, your payment details or your Apple ID, and the app itself contains no payment code and stores nothing about your purchase. Because nothing was ever uploaded, deleting it on your device deletes it everywhere. There is no copy on our side to clear, and no request you need to send us.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Nothing you do here is tracked or profiled.
If you write to us through the contact form on the Support page, the name, email address and message you type are sent to our support inbox by email so that we can reply. We use them for that reply and nothing else. They are never sold, shared or added to a mailing list.
As with every website, our web host keeps standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These exist for security and reliability, they are kept by the host for a limited period, and we do not use them to identify or track visitors.
Freedom Forecast is suitable for all ages and is a genuinely good way to teach a teenager how compounding works. It contains no ads, no social features and no purchases aimed at children.
Because the app collects no information from anyone, it collects none from children either. It is not directed at children under 13 and is not part of the App Store Kids Category. If a younger child uses it, nothing about them is gathered, transmitted or stored anywhere except on that device.
If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and revise the date above. Because the core promise of the app is that your figures stay on your device, any future change affecting that promise will be made clear and prominent rather than buried here.
