How to become a fashion show photographer?
I had the opportunity to photograph the world's biggest fashion shows for major news agencies and magazines like Vogue.

- First step! Study catwalk photos from famous fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, etc. If you want to make money, your photos must have the same quality/style/composition as the photos used by major magazines.
- Buy the basic equipment. To begin, you need a camera, a 70-200mm telephoto lens, a monopod and a Pelican hard case. Do not underestimate the importance of the monopod and the case! You'll get sharp pictures only if you have a monopod and you will get a spot on the riser only if you have a case.
- Learn how to use your camera. Fashion shows can be fast and dimly lit. You need to know how to configure your camera for each event.
- Submit your work to fashion magazines and websites before the fashion show season. Big brands invite only press photographers to their events. Make sure the magazine is accredited in advance.
- Be quick to submit photos.
- Network with other professionals during the fashion week.
- Pay attention to the more experienced photographers, observe and learn from them.
